A pimple is something that every girl dread to have but sometimes it is hard to fight with, too, especially in the teen years. A beautiful day can turn into a nightmare for you if you wake up with a prominent pimple on your pretty face. Hence, have rounded up some easy and quick natural treatments for you to make your pimples disappear and reinstate your beautiful skin.
If you have a special event to attend tomorrow and there is one mighty pimple on your face that is spoiling your look, don’t worry about it. Consider using toothpaste over it to destroy it overnight.
Silica present in toothpaste will dry out the pimple and shrink the size of it. But remember to avoid the toothpastes that contain sodium lauryl sulfate as it may irritate your skin.
2. Tea Tree Oil
It is known for its antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. Tea tree oil is a great way to treat mild to moderate acne.
It can be used directly on the pimples; pour a few drops on a cotton pad, ball or bud and cover your pimples with it and leave for few hours or overnight. Make sure to use it on a clean, dry skin and in its 100% pure form.
You might have used aspirin as a headache reliever but did you know it can help you get rid of your pimples too?
Crush a tablet or two of aspirin, depending on your acne area, and form a paste by adding some water to it. Cover your pimples with this paste, leaving to dry.
The salicylic acid in aspirin fights the acne-causing bacteria and dries out the pimples concurrently.
4. Cinnamon and Honey
Cinnamon is best known for its antibacterial and anti-fungal properties.
Mix half tsp cinnamon power with some honey and cover your pimples with this mixture before going to bed every night.
Do this for 2 weeks and watch your acne fade away.
5. Orange Peel
Oranges are usually available throughout the year and they are not only good for your overall health but they can be used as a natural medicine for pimples too. Mince the peels with a few drops of water and apply it on your face. If you have dry skin, you can add a little honey too to keep your skin moisturized.
Additional Tip: Beside the above mentioned natural treatments/remedies, keeping your skin clean, drinking plenty of water and eating healthy food is also important for a fresh and acne-free skin!
