Blushes are for sure a girl’s best kept secret. Not only ca  n you add a bit of color to your complexion but also blush is a great way to create depth and dimension to your face since foundation can make you appear flat. With the launch of Color Studio Professional’s Pro Blushes earlier last year, these have been the talk of the town in the beauty world. What I really like about this range is that all of the blushes are wearable and don’t contain that typical high-frost shimmer that majority blushes do. There is a shade for every skin tone and since these are matte they work wonderfully on matured skin.

The range comes in 5 versatile shades with a mix of soft pink to deep orange. With 3 shimmer and 2 matte finish blushes, each blush offers a great pop of color to your cheeks. The shimmer blushes in the range doesn’t show up as noticeably so if you prefer a matte blush these will suit you.

Application:

  1. Simply tap your blush brush into the pan softly to pick up some product.
  2. Start by applying the blush in a sweeping motion to your cheekbones.
  3. I generally start at the hairline and then sweep the blush onto the apples since I prefer to have most of the color on upper part of my cheeks.

My absolute favorite from this range is Natural Glow, it’s my absolute favorite blush to wear everyday. I don’t have to worry about over applying this blush since it gives the most appealing flush of color perfect for everyday. I hardly ever wore blush before I started using Natural Glow, it’s ideal for pale and medium skin tones but for deeper complexions this wouldn’t show up that noticeably on the skin.

Havana is a pink brown blush with slight shimmer. It has a warming effect to any skintone, for me this works really well to add some depth to my cheeks. I like pairing Havana with a bright pink to add a dimension.

Pinkify is a deep pink almost red shade. This is perfect for deeper skin tones since the shade is highly pigmented and you only need a small amount to add some color to your cheeks.

Pixie Pink is another favorite of mine, this light matte pink blush is perfect for pale to medium skin tones. I can even see deeper skin tones using this shade on the apples of the cheeks for a light flush of color.

Audacious Orange is for the bold, this vibrant orange is ideal for medium to deep skin tones. It’s extremely vibrant on the cheeks and should be used with a light hand.

All of these blushes apply beautifully onto the skin without feeling chalky. You only need a small amount of product on your blush brush for gorgeous cheeks. In using these blush it doesn’t take multiple layering to get nice amount of color on the skin. These Pro Blushes are highly pigmented, so only a small amount goes a very long way. Did I mention you get 10gm worth of product? These blushes will last you a lifetime. The texture is very smooth and feels very nice when applied. Even though the range only has 5 blushes, the color selection is very versatile. Each blush is packed with intensely rich pigmentation so I’m happy to say there isn’t a bad seed in the range of 5.

I recommended any newbie to makeup to start their makeup collection with a shade of blush such as Pixie Pink or Natural Glow. You won’t regret purchasing these blushes.

You can find Color Studio Professional Pro Blushes at any large super market such as Naheed’s Super Market, EBCO and Aghas. The Pro Blushes are priced at 600rs.
