Shy to using bright colors on your eyelids? Browns and golds are the way to go! Learning how to create a neutral eye makeup can come in handy when you’re not sure what look to pair your outfit with. Neutral bronze and gold’s are a perfect combination of hues for a very wearable look. I love creating this look since it can be worn for just about every occasion.
What you will need:
- Essence Eyeshadow base
- MUA Heaven & Earth Eyeshadow Palette
- Color Studio Professional Eye Ink in Earthen Roots
- Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo in Bold Gold
- Catrice Maximum Resist Volume Mascara
- Essence Gel Liner in Midnight in Paris
- Flat Eyeshadow Brush
- Fluffy Blending Brush
Start off by prepping your eyelid with an eyeshadow base, this helps to prevent the eyeshadow from creasing and to brighten up the eyelid.
First we are going to apply a cream eyeshadow in gold all over the lid; this will allow the gold eyeshadow to look vibrant.
Using a Flat Eyeshadow Brush, take a gold eyeshadow and apply it on top of the cream eyeshadow. This should be applied all over the lid in a pressing motion with the brush for proper application of your eyeshadow.
Taking a shimmery vanilla eyeshadow, apply this on the inner corner of the eyes and under the brow bone. This will help to brighten up the eyes and give them a larger appearance.
Using a Matte Brown eyeshadow, apply this on the outer crease with a Fluffy Blending Brush. You want to use a blending brush for this part since you want the dark eyeshadow to not look harsh but to help create depth to your look. Since we used shimmery eyeshadows all over the lid, the matte will help to darken the look.
Last you want to curl your lashes, apply mascara and a black eyeliner.
The final look!
