Afzal receives letters regularly from a girl who is madly in love with him. He shares the contents of these letters with his friends but does not disclose the name of the girl since she has sworn him to secrecy about her identity. Maulvi Sahib soon finds out about the pot-smoking and gambling habits of Afzal as well as the shocking revelation that a girl writes love letters to him which he reads out loud in the company of his friends.
He makes it clear to Afzal’s mother (played by Saba Hameed) that good and evil cannot remain under one roof and that Afzal must leave. Afzal’s mother then replies that if there is proof then it should be brought forward and that if all the allegations against Afzal turn out to be true then she herself will kick him out.
On the other hand, we are taken to the home of Farah and Lubna who are sisters. Farah (played by Ayeza Khan) is supposed to be married but she wants to reject the offer right when the marriage date is about to be fixed. Her younger sister Lubna (Sana Javed) tries to help her out of her situation but her parents do not take Farah’s rejection seriously.
