S.M Saleem, Qazi Wajid, Marina Khan, Talat Hussain, Bushra Ansari, Salim Nasir, Qavi and many more were the faces that cannot be forgotten due to their extravagant performances.

Khuda Ki Basti
No one can forget the spell that Khuda Ki Basti put on electronic media when it first hit the screen. This black and white drama was based on a novel by Shaukat Siddiqui, and it is of course the best novel based drama that was ever created in Pakistan, and still it is the best if we compete it with others. Nonetheless, the casts were outstanding that was consist of Qazi Wajid, S.M Saleem, Zahin Tahira, Shahjee, Shakeel Chugtai and many more. Faiz Ahmed Faiz worked hard with Shaukat Siddiqui to keep the drama and its incredibleness into shape.
Dhuwan was one of the best work done by Sajjad Ahmed, the director of the serial, who is an eminent director of the Pakistani drama industry due to his famous hits like Saza Aur Jaza, Namaloom, Barish Key Bad, Sannaata, and Gulbashra. Dhuwan would never be a success if Nazli Nasir, Humayon Saeed, Wajid Ali Shah, Rohi and Zubair Khan Achakzai had not added charm to their respective roles.
Haseena Moin, the queen of Pakistan drama industry is behind the brilliancy of Tanhaiyan. The serial earned million hearts by its sheer and touchy storyline. ARY is showing its continuity serial with the named Tanhaiyan Naye Silsilay, however it does not reach that level of success Tanhaiyan earned in 1985. Behroze Subzwari, Marina Khan, Badar Khalil, Imtiaz Ahmed, Asif Raza Mir and many more were included in the cast.
Kasak is another intelligent piece written by Haseena Moin, which revolved around a couple who faced problems in their marriage, and ended up getting divorce. Rubina Ashraf was the central actress, who was supported by other actors like Fazeela Qazi, Qazi Wajid, Farah Naz, Seemi Zaidi, Tanveer Jamal and Jahanzeb Gorchani.
Qavi Khan, one of the best actor of his time played a role of a Police Officer, who along with his team caught criminals who broke the laws and harm fellow beings. The main reason through which this serial got success is because the writer Younus Javeed beautiful penned down the main issues that our society was facing at that time. Alpha Bravo Charlie
Shoaib Mansoor brought a whole new cast infront of the camera with a perfect storyline that was based on a military life. The fame of this serial is because of the cinematography and locations it was filmed on. The image of Pakistani Army and the practical life of our soldiers were well taped by Shoaib Mansoor and co. Capt. M. Qasim Khan, Shahnaz Khan, Capt. Abdullah Mahmood, Faraz Inaam, Hashmat Sheikh, Malik Atta, and many more joined their effort and made this serial even more beautiful.
Aangan Terha is full of laughter, and a show that covered multiple issues of Pakistani society. It was created by Qaisar Farooq, in which every episode encompassed different story, but sometimes the main focus shifted to electoral matters and political problems. Salim Nasir, Bushra Ansari, Shakeel, Durdana Butt, and Arshad Mahmood were the charming faces of this comedy play.
Not a single drama in the history has presented the relationship of step mother and her step children as beautifully as Naheed Sultana did in Aanch. Shagufta Ejaz played the role of a step mother who tried very hard to win her step children’s hearts. Shafi Muhammad, Mehak Ali, Aesha Khan, Mehmood Ali and many others accompanied Shagufta Ejaz.
